Color Identification

When multi-core cables are marked with different colors, they meet the following requirements: 2 cores cables: red, blue; 3 cores cables: yellow, green, red; 4 cores cables: yellow, green, red, blue; 5 cores cables: yellow, green, red, blue, black (or determined by the supply and demand parties through negotiation). The colors red, yellow and green are used for the mainly core. Blue is used for neutral core, in order to avoid confusion with other colors, light blue is recommended.

Number Identification

When multi-core cables are marked with numbers, they meet the following requirements: 2 cores cables: 0, 1; 3 cores cables: 1, 2, 3; 4 cores cables: 0, 1, 2, 3; 5 cores cables: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. The numbers 1, 2, 3 are used for mainly core, 0 used for neutral core. In 5 cores cable, the number "4" refers to the purpose-specific conductor (including the ground conductor). When the insulation is marked by numbers, the insulation should be the same color and arranged according to the numbers. Arabic numerals should be printed on the surface of the insulated , and the color of the numerals should be the same and have obvious contrast with the insulation color and printing clearly; The number marks should be repeated at equal intervals along the insulated , and the two adjacent sets of number marks should be reversed from each other. When the mark is composed of a single number, a dash should be placed under the number, if the mark is composed of two numbers, it should be arranged up and down and placed under the following number, and the spacing “d” between the two adjacent groups of number marks should not be greater than 50mm.

Sheath

The outer sheath of the cable is usually black, but other colors can also be used in accordance with the manufacturer or buyer's agreement to adapt to its use environment. The cable should have a continuous identification of the manufacturer's name, product model, rated voltage, and the manufacturer's name identification can be a repeated identification of the manufacturer or trademark. The distance between the end of a complete logo and the beginning of the next logo should not exceed 500mm on the outer sheath of the cable; it should not exceed 200mm on the cable insulation or tape; the printed logo should be scratch-resistant and not fall off, and the printing on the surface Content should be clear and legible.

Note: The mark on the surface of the sheath can also add other content according to the custom of the user or the manufacturer.
